What's the point of spending years of your life training to be a doctor when it's so easy to practice medicine illegally in backstreets?
Give Amateur Surgeon a try and you'll suddenly realize how fun and easy it is to be a doctor. You play the role of Alan Probe, a pizza delivery guy who stumbles into the world of backstreet medicine.
Your task in Amateur Surgeon is to perform surgery on a variety of patients (two in this light version, but more than 30 in the full game) using whatever tools you have to hand. So you'll find yourself opening chest cavities with pizza cutters, using salad tongs to make extractions, then patching up the wound again with a stapler.
Amateur Surgeon, an Adult Swim creation, is gorgeously crafted, with hilarious well-drawn characters, cartoon cut scenes, and lashings of humor. Some of the content is a bit on the gruesome side, so don't attempt to play this one if you have a weak constitution. Besides, the game is restricted to over 17s anyway.
If you wanted to be a doctor but flunked med school, Amateur Surgeon is a fun way to realize your dream in the sickest possible way.
